Burgundy Beats

I am so ready for Autumn (and apparently for a stint at a French boarding school/ as a librarian) so I can wear woolly jumpers and tights everyday. Its so much easier to dress for day to day! Earlier, I had my first go at Polyvore which I love now! I put together this perfect Autumn outfit, and thinking about it I remembered a couple of items in my own wardrobe! So I managed to recreate it from older pieces and I'm pretty happy with the result. The shirt is very old with lace inserts from Penneys, and unfortunately the top button just refuses to stay closed! So during my semester in Sweden I found this cute clip at a thrift market and its perfect for keeping the collar closed! The sweater is also quite old but I can never bring myself th throw it away, it keeps being pulled out after every summer! It's a pretty simple outfit and I love this colour for Autumn and Winter, such a warm colour. You could also pair this with leggings and knee high boots for another casual day time look, but I chose a simple black skirt and black ankle boots. One thing I 100% need to invest in for Winter is a pair of chunky Chelsea boots. I love them! I added a bowler hat and map watch to finish off the outfit. My makeup is quite simple but sharp, just black liquid liner in a thin cat eye and winey lipstick that complements the sweater perfectly (looks very pinky in the pictures though), and my usual glasses!
