The Cliffs of Moher

Yesterday we decided to be total tourists and visit the Cliffs of Moher. Even though I only live about two hours from this amazing spot, I'd never been; and it is gorgeous. And being the Harry Potter nerd that I am it was extra exciting to see where the cave part of the Half Blood Prince was filmed. However, I was poorly dressed for the incredibly windy weather that met us when we left the car park. Everyone was wearing fleeces and hoodies and raincoats and here I was in me duster. But oh well, it was totally worth it. If you've never been, I'd recommend it! I was of course totally casual because I knew we'd be walking a lot, so I wore these bright green trainers. Brightly coloured trainers are a big deal right now, and since New Balance have come back with a bang it's totally acceptable to wear them at all times, not just when exercising. Of course ripped jeans are one of the biggest trends right now and have been all summer. I have to roll these ones up or else they are about a mile too long for me, but I thought it looked perfect with the trainers. A baggy white top, my duster coat and a colourful scarf later and I had my day out outfit!

More Issues + White Eyelet

I thought I'd just lump these two looks in together to be more organized, the first was for a day at a Jameson Distillery and then a family visit, and the second was for a day spent hanging around Youghal!

I love this "More Issues than Vogue! tshirt, haha I know it's a little old now but whatever I love the quote! As standard there's a check shirt around my waist, I just can't stay away from them; and of course my trusty dark denim jeans from Hollister, the comfiest ever!

This is the cutest shirt ever is it not? I found this in the Topshop sale and had to have it, the buttons at the back are too sweet - even though I did need to add a safety pin to protect my dignity! This midi skirt is pretty old now but its still doing the rounds and I love the slit, its decent enough so you can wear it during the day too! I paired this with my fedora (obsessed) and my pink cut out boots. Must dash guys, off to the airport again to drop my sister off, she's leaving again for London... why must everyone leave me?!

Black and Pastel Pink

My little break was fabulous! We spent a few days in Youghal, a little beach side spot in Co. Cork. I wore this outfit for a day to Cork city where we had lunch and did a spot of window shopping, and I can't leave Cork city without stopping by at O' Conaills Chocolatiers. Heaven! This dress looks a bit nun-y when tied up to the top button but left open and paired with some chunky boots I think it toughens up a little. Matching my shoes and this FAB handbag and adding my fedora (as usual) finished up the outfit. I added some silver jewellary and my denim jacket and I was ready for the sprawling metropolis that is Cork city! Next two outfits to come!

Le Duster

I'm VERY excited today... Leaving soon to head to Dublin to pick up my boyfriend from the airport. VERY EXCITED.
Aaanyway... the duster coat is so bang on trend right now and its the perfect transitional piece. Light, but not too light, a little warm but not too warm, this can take you right from August to September. Beige is a good colour choice also because I think it can go well with pastels and more summery colours while also blending perfectly with the more autumnal colours. Wear it loose or throw a plaited belt around it in a knot and viola! The duster and the fedora is a match made in heaven, they fit so perfectly together, I do feel a little Inspector Gadget though! This is such a casual outfit, but add the coat and the hat and it seems much more dressy. Real quick one today as I'm ready to run out the door and head for the airport!

White Stripes

Quick casual look today as I'm not up to much... Yet another black and white look but what can I say I am loving stripes at the moment. A little skirt like this with a baggy shirt or woolly jumper layered over it is so easy to wear and perfect for Autumn and back to college time. Also excuse my hair, it was feeling a little unruly today. Still obsessing over fedora hats, if you follow my Instagram (Ciarseyx) you'll see I finally found a way to hang them, before they were being thrown all over the place for lack of a good home. As I said before, I was on the hunt for a good pair of chunky Chelsea boots and they finally arrived in the post! These are from New Look and are so comfy and easy to wear, love them. I added the bomber to spice it up a little, they are so great for daily wear and the splash (literally) of colour made the monochrome look a little less blah for today. I love these delicate chains, they just finished off the whole outfit perfectly.
