That Khaki Green

Combinig and mixing colours and textures is so much fun I couldn't resist putting this denim shirt with this skirt. I felt like I was going on safari... a really high maintenance one. This skirt was the best bargain ever from Promod, my new favourite shop. Khaki is such a good colour for Autumn, it's warm and can be mixed with a lot of other colours. This fox necklace is the cutest, I have a thing about foxes (must be the hair) and I love the mix of gold and silver in this one and how delicate it is (this shop has the cutest jewellary). I've been debating over getting slip on shoes for a while now because of the vicious rumours going around that they cut the feet off you... these aren't too bad but too much walking isn't good for anyone anyway, is it?

Beanie Babes

I LOVE beanies. I went through a serious beanie loving phase starting around this time last year and it stuck with me until about March. I can't wait to start wearing them again and investing in a couple of new ones this season. Below are some of my faves which carried me through the colder months and still kept me cool!

Black - Carlings
Aint No Wifey - Camden Market
Black Ears - Pretty Little Thing
 Jewels - H&M
Berry - Monki
Light Pink - Pretty Little Thing
Red - Primark
Brown - Aldo

And here are some of the ones I'm currently lusting after

Comme as You are

The leaves are changing colours and falling, its finally Autumn! Kind of... it's still pretty warm which I'm not happy about. But still, its progress! This is a casual look I wore for college, all black and white (big surprise there) and comfy. I love this leather jacket for its extra little bit of length, most leather jackets are slightly cropped so this one is a bit different. And this jumper! I love it; I love slogan and graphic t-shirts so a jumper was the obvious autumn choice for me. And this little angled skirt (you be forgiven for thinking it was a skort) is cute and was such a bargain when I got it a few months ago.

Thinking Outside the Box

I am in love with this duster coat. This print, this shape, this monochrome look. In love. This kind of coat is so easy to wear, its perfect over jeans and also over skirts and dresses. I really can't wait to start mixing it up with some stripes and other patterns! A good pair of black jeans will never let you down, I have had these for donkeys years and they're still going! This top wasn't originally ripped, it was actually an accident but I liked it so much I added a few extra and now it looks deliberate! The power of DIY. And I added my trusty coral converse for a little pop of colour. So yeah, lets talk about my hair. I don't know what made me do it or why I even thought of it but I woke up that morning and nothing but pigtail buns would do me. So, there we have it.

Criss Cross

I wore this outfit for Ladies day of the Listowel Races last week. I only managed to get home from college in time to hit the town and not the racecourse and this is the result. I bought this dress when I was in Sweden and I loved it then and I love it now. The back is so cool and I love the high neck and long sheer length. These shoes are so elegant with their skinny heel and the narrow strap. I paired the dress with a busy bomber as the dress itself is so plain at the front. I kept the rest simple - minimal gold jewellary, although I did get a little clashy with the clutch. All in all it was a simple outfit that worked out well; I felt quite vampy with all the dark clothes and the dark lips and the pale pale skin!
