Witch Hunt

Getting in the Halloween spirit, for the week that's in it! We found this abandoned house while out for a drive and I knew we had to come back to do a little themed shooting, and I'm so happy we found it! It was getting dark while we took the pictures (I think you can probably tell) and it was very very creepy, but so amazing. Its just about getting time for velvet and as a huge advocate of velvet I couldn't be more delighted. Its so luxurious and amazing, and perfect for coming into Winter time. I've been getting into the theme of things for Halloween and watching witchy movies lately, Hocus Pocus and Prectical Magic to name a few and The Craft is next on the list! The black necklace and midi ring from the Rogue and the Wolf from "The Witches Hawk" collection are amazing. All of their stuff is so perfect, with a really magic-y vibe. Basically, I want to be a witch but without all the scary bad magic devil type things that go on sometimes.

The Moonchild

The day we took these pictures the weather was SO BAD, like lashing rain, so we had to take the pictures inside, so excuse the background! I love this acid wash dress, I got it at the end of the summer because I knew it would be perfect for this time of year with a jumper over it or a shirt underneath it. Chelsea boots are honestly my favourite style this season, so fashionably and sleek but can also be chunky and edgy. Love it! This oversized cardigan is great, it's so 90's witchy or something; makes me feel like one of the girls from The Craft! I'm so getting in the mood for Halloween, and this hat and necklace from Moonchild are helping that along; I love crescent moon jewellary and prints lately, it must just be the Halloween vibe this whole October! Their jewellary is amazing and so inexpensive but still great quality, and the beanie is amazing quality too; so thick and warm. I love the pentagram and crescent moon they worked into their name too! Amazing, need to get my hands on their new t-shirt soon!

Sporty Stripes

I wore this outfit out last weekend for a big girly reunion with friends from school who I rarely get to see anymore; it was such a great night! I love this skirt, it can be worn so many ways with so many things. When I saw this cropped tshirt I immediately thought they would look great together for a sports luxe-y kind of look, reminiscent of the time Kim K wore this style and Naya Rivera wore whatever Kim was wearing:

Anyway, I love sports luxe style, bombers with crop tshirts and tight midi skirts are a perfect example, and the thick sporty stripes are great on the tshirt. Its a surprisingly comfortable style, no wonder I had such a good night (wink wink I don't remember.) Strappy sandals finished off the outfit and some more-casual-than-usual-makeup set off the whole look.
Hope everyone's enjoying the bank holiday!

Sweet 60's

Fur gilets are perfect for when you can't go full fur quite yet but it's still chilly enough to break it out. Wear them with sweaters, polo necks, or just a long-sleeved top; throw a gilet on with this and jeans and its such a simple stylish outfit. I love this checked/grid print that's around at the moment, perfect for freshening up monochrome looks. This skirt is fab, really pretty but its so thick and warm too, perfect for the cold weather. With its shape and print, and the polo neck I paired it with, it had quite a 60's feel about it; and I loved it! These little "back to school" shoes pulled the whole look together and I added this woolly scarf as an extra protection from the chilly breeze.
Hope you all enjoy your weekend!

Suspender Shorts

Short blog today as I've had a long day in college... Joys of final year but hey it's got to be done. This is a look from a while ago; I love these baggy floral shorts, with tight or without and with the suspenders or without. The ditsy floral print is cute and the gold buttons are amazing, it gives such a vintage vibe. Paired with all black accesories and a denim jacket a cute look with a vintage feel. Sorry this is such a shortie, I'll be better next time, promise!
