NYE Inspo 2

Happy New Years eve! Can't believe 2014 is already over... time flies when you're having fun amirite?! This is another post for last minute outfit planners who are struggling for a NYE outfit - it's really not that big of a deal! As usual I went for velvet, this beautiful reddy winey shade catches the light so nicely always.  A black low back top keeps the outfit quite simple so I loaded up with necklaces too. I needed a bandeau under the top to keep my modesty; I lost my black one so I had to go with a black and white one. You can't really see it though so it's ok I guess! This is a more casual look I guess, maybe for a house party or something. This handbag is amazing - originally from Topshop but I got it for 50 cent! Car boot sales are amazing things I'm tellin ya.  I paired it with my chunky boots and my softest shearling coat to ward off the chill. Hope every ody has a great (and safe!) night tonight, I'm in Prague deep in the snow having an amazing time!I'm excited to celebrate New Years in a different country with some new people and most importantly cheap alcohol and snow! :)

New Years Eve Inspo

I wore this a couple of nights before Christmas but I decided to put it up for a little bit of NYE outfit inspiration. I always think either velvet or glitter are essential for New Years Eve, so this velvet LBD is also perfect if you don't want to resemble a disco ball too much! Fur is always perfect for the festive season so I added this shorter bomber style jacket to keep the chill away. I'm not one for high heels, I'd rather wear a chunky boot for a night out - that's why I wore these beauties on this night - but I know for New Years Eve I'd lose the tights and definitely pair this outfit with some strappy heels, preferably a little glitzy.

Unfortunately when I went out for St. Stephens night (Boxing day!) I didn't get a chance to photograph my outfit which would also be very New Years Eve appropriate! Here's a little taster and you can see some more on my Instagram!

Happy Food Coma Day

If you're anything like me you'll be feeling like the biggest slob and unable to function properly after all the ham and turkey today and yesterday. In this situation, if I'm not all cosied up in my onesie (which I LOVE) I'm comfy in a huge jumper and leggings. This jumper is so thick and warm, it had like a kind of extra layer or something on the inside; so soft. I love the floral pattern too and how it is kind of contrasting from back to front. It's a great length, long enough to wear with leggings and not show off your butt which is always a positive with leggings! I do love my cut out boots but some days it's just a little too chilly for them on their own, so I added a pair of all black socks with little white details to separate between the socks and leggings. All in all one of the most comfy outfits of all time! Hope everyone had a great Christmas day and are feasting on all the left over turkey and ham and roasties!

It was Christmas Eve Babe..

Happy Christmas Eve; and the last day of my Twelve days of Blogmas!! Excitement levels are gone too far at this moment as I sit here in my Christmas onesie sipping on a lemon and honey hot whiskey. The time has come! I thought I'd post this outfit as it's one that could be worn for Christmas day, maybe the jeans changed for a little skirt underneath the top. This top is honestly a dream; I felt like a polar bear the first time I wore it and it wasn't even a problem at all. It's so incredibly insanely soft and really really warm; you can see in the close up pictures it's really just a teddy bear in the shape of a tshirt. I love the boxy shape of it too, it's very chic. I wore my red coat to give the outfit a little bit of Christmas cheer, while the ripped jeans gave it and edge at the same time. I'm really into pearly jewellary at the moment, I found these vintage earrings and loved them so much I hunted out all my other bits to match from my jewellery box - and was luck enough to be given a beautiful bracelet for my birthday which I will feature in another post. I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas and Santa is good to everyone! Be safe and happy over the holidays, I'll be back to my normal posting routine after the celebrations. Have a great one everybody!
