Yesterday I went to my first big blogger event in the G hotel in Galway hosted by the amazing Saibh and Sinead from Into the West Blogger Network for their first birthday bash! I was so nervous heading in on my own but once I got chatting to a few girls I was fine! Everyone was so friendly and chatty at my table, it was great to get to meet so many like minded people! There were amazing sweet treats on every table and we each got our own little pink packet with a cupcake and a chocolate inside. Lunch was amazing - honestly the food at the G is to die for; it was my first time there and it did not disappoint it was so amazing! the food, drinks and decor were all fab! There were four speakers throughout the day - Sinead Burke, blogger at Minnie Melange, a speaker from Castle Print (where I'll definitely be getting some cards printed up, felt really at a loss without having some yesterday when everyone else was handing theirs out!), Wayne Denner speaking about how to keep your online reputation clean and Karen Brown from Karora telling us her amazing success story! It was great to have such a diverse range of speakers but all with a common theme running through! We all got a great bag of goodies when we got to our table, can't wait to try everything out! There were some stands and displays from Debenham, The Body Shop, Cotton Face Vintage, Insight hair products, No7 cosmetics and Amber holistics, again a really great selection with so much stuff to see!
It was a great day overall and it was so great to get to see and meet some of the familiar faces from the internet! It's great to see such an eclectic mix of people who can all come together and have a grea time no matter what their interests, and of course a huge massive gigantic thank you to Sinead (YummyMummy.eu.com) and Saibh (saibhegan.blogspot.ie) for masterminding this event and itwbn, so glad I this great group of people. Thanks ladies! :)
