Breaking alllll kinds of style rules here but hey, what else are you supposed to do with rules? And I actually really like a good blue tone against black, especially in a silky or satiny material. I wore this outfit to my cousins communion - she wore my old communion dress, how cute is that?! Taking after me in the vintage stakes! I ate so much food and cake I almost exploded, typical communion day! The weather was dire which also explains the indoor photos, sorry for the not so great quality but it was either this or blown into a puddle on the side of the road!
This top is a dream, I fell in love with it the second I saw it. It's so soft and silky and in real life the colour is just so gorgeous! I wasn't that sure about the cut and the shape but I loved the colour and material so much I bought it anyway and I'm really glad I did; I think it'd look great with jeans and sandals too! My culottes got another day out here, they are so comfy I could actually live in them! Again I can't wait to style these for Summer with some strappy sandals and a sun hat! I was at a loss as to what jacket to wear with this outfit until I remembered this navy trench coat and it was a match made in heaven! I added some silver and gold jewellery (cos I clearly love mixing all the things!) and some strappy cut out shoe boots and voila! I was communion ready!
