Khaki Kool

Khaki is the new colour for this year and I loooove it! Tops, coats, pants, jumpsuits, you name it. I really love this colour and it goes well with a lot of other muted tones but you can also brighten it up with warm colours. Celebs like Kim Kardashian, Rihanna and Alexa Chung love a bit of khaki.

This kimono-type jacket is actually from last October (I was way ahead of the trend :P ) but I didn't wear it as much as I would have liked so I'll be changing that now. I decided to belt it and add a scarf to protect myself from the wind that appeared just as we stepped outside the door and I really like how it turned out. I'm wearing a plain grey tshirt dress underneath and my faded burgundy boots - It's a really comfy outfit but quite dressy aswell. I was a bit chilly so I might wait til it warms up a leeeettle bit more before I venture out in sure a light covering! Here are some of my favourites available at the moment:

Topshop jeans and bomber

River Island duster and palazzo pants

Motel Rocks playsuit and dress

Duser coat - TkMaxx
Dress - H&M
Scarf - Penneys
Boots - Shoe Rack
Chains - Vintage
Bracelet - Chrysalis

Vintage Silk

This shirt *heart eyes emoji* I love it so much. I thrifted it for like €3 and it's amazing. It's 100% silk so its super soft; I love the burgundy red colour and the teeny weeny paisley print is my favourite! I think it would be great tucked into high waisted denim shorts in the summer too! I thought this coat went really well with it, the muted tone didn't clash with the red of the shirt, I went with a plain black skirt and my lovely faded burgundy cut out boots. This vintage necklace complimented the vintage feel of the shirt, and of course I was using my new all time favourite bag with my little elephant on it! P.S how Marilyn Monroe are the shots with my skirt blowing in the breeze?!

Coat - Swamp
Skirt - Penneys
Boots - Shoe Rack
Bag - Parfois
Necklace/ Shirt - Vintage

Makeup Monday| Penneys P.S. Love This

Just a few bits and bobs I picked up on my last trip to Penneys. I never really buy any beauty items there, but I was in dire need of a new eyebrow comb so I said I'd take a look in there. And lo and behold they had one for €1.50! Which is a perfect price for something which I personally don't think needs to be of great quality or expense; and it does the job perfectly! (Brows on fleek.) Next thing on my list was a new lipstick brush; I only have one and I needed a new one so I could use it for the lighter colours rather than having to wash one constantly. This little one is so handy; it's retractable and a handy size to throw into your handbag on a night out or even for touch ups during the day. Last but not least I saw these little nail art brushes and thought why the heck not! I'm actually a qualified nail technician but I haven't done anything in years now, hopefully these pretty brushes will inspire me to do some great nail art in the next few weeks! If anything amazing happens I'll let you all know!
