The First Page of a New Book

See what I did there? See how I said the first page of a new book and then I used a paper background? Serious blogging creds right here.
So anyway, last year I did more of a forward thinking post to welcome the new year, but this year I've been feeling a bit more reflective. 2015 has been a big year for me with many, many peaks but probably just as many pits aswell. I finished my Final Year Dissertation, I graduated from college after four long and amazing years, I did a hella lot of travelling (Malta, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Turkey, Germany, plus revisiting Prague and London), I moved to a whole new country (and in with my boyfriend #nowthatsgrownup), got nominated for an award, I started my first real life big girl job, I met new people, got closer to old friends, lost contact with some more. All in all I will say that 2015 has been a year of great importance with really big moments for me.
Last year I made 5 resolutions (which you can read about here) and I stuck to about 4 of them in my opinion so that's not too bad. I know people say new year, new me, new chances, and of course I agree with that too; but then again it's also a continuation of getting older and wiser - if you started every year with a new slate you might just forget all the mistakes you made last year, and make them all over again! So here's to 2016 for bringing us to where we're meant to be!

Year's end is neither an end nor a beginning, but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us. - Hal Borland.
